Create. That’s my word for 2021. It fits exactly what I’m aiming to do in 2021.
Last year was all about acclimating to the online space and testing the waters as a newly minted self-care blogger.
But this year sis- 2021 is mine for the taking. I am going to create what I feel compelled to create.
I am creating content that is both on and off trend and there is nothing that no one can do or say to change my mind.
Because Kb In Bloom is my business and if what I want to create feels right, you bet your bottom dollar I’m going to create it.
The thoughts of whether or not someone on the other side of the screen will get it are unrelatable.
I’ve replaced such thoughts with, ‘kb, this is you, this is your passion, create and launch it already’.
Literally, with merely 3 weeks of the year remaining, I decided to do the ‘untrend thing’ and create a IGTV series.
I know, I know. Instagram is pushing reels right now, who will see it sis?
If people are rocking with me for my content, they are going to rock with me whatever content I put out on the interwebs.
I also believe IGTV isn’t entirely dead and so since it’s there, why would I let a good feature go to waste?
The series is created with black women experiences and everyday responsibilities in mind.
What I love about my approach to my series is that you can turn it on and let it play or decide to watch the soothing visuals that are accompanied by the choosing topic for the week.
This has by far been my favorite thing to brainstorm and create. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of recording, editing, and choosing the visual(s) each week I release a new series.

Sis, what do you plan on creating for 2021?
