first day gummies

If you are a mom, then you know that it is important to make sure that your children are getting the nutrients they need to grow and thrive. And if you are a woman, then you know that it is important to make sure that you are getting the nutrients you need as well.

That’s why First Day Vitamin created a line of vitamins specifically designed for women and children. Today we will be doing a review of their women’s and children’s vitamins.

Why First Day Multivitamins for Kids Stands Out to Parents

First Day Kids Vitamins

One thing that plagues my mind as a momma of a toddler, is whether or not my baby girl is getting proper nutrition. As a vegan family, you would think it would be easier for me to get my child to eat the recommended four servings of fruits and vegetables a day. It’s not, and the struggle is more than real.

I started to look for vitamins for toddlers that won’t eat with hopes to supplement the essential nutrients that may have been missing in my little one’s picky eating stage.

It was so fitting that  First Day Vitamins for kids were willing to provide a sample of their kid’s multivitamin for us to try! After reading the glowing First Day gummy reviews, I was so excited to give them a go.

What I Looked For In Vitamins For My Toddler

Being that my little one has diet restrictions, there were a few things I was looking for in a vitamin supplement:

  • Vegan/Gelatin free
  • Gluten and Dairy Free
  • Taste good enough for my toddler to enjoy
  • Non-GMO
  • Nut Free

My First Day Review Of Their Kid’s Vitamins

Taste, Color & Consistency

I was concerned about the slight medicinal taste of the vitamins. But, after trying the first day gummies for the first time, my child immediately and continuously asked for more. The vitamins passed the taste test with flying colors.

The smell and consistency of these vitamins are significantly different from other gummies. The gummies smell like fresh fruit and aren’t sticky, which is more than I can say for others that are full of artificial coloring and coated in sugar.

Ingredients, Function & Nutrition

I was concerned about my baby girl consuming First Day vitamins daily. While they are full of nutrients, they are still gummies. The 2 grams of sugar as opposed to the average 8 grams in other competing kids’ vitamins eased that worry and helped me feel more confident.

After a week of First Day vitamins, I noticed my little one had more energy. She was no longer moody and sluggish after waking up. The vitamins also seemed to have regulated my child’s bowel movements, which has been the most beneficial to her.

Smell, Taste, Appearance

 Organic Vitamins Smell

The gummies smell fruity, like a cross between berries and tropical fruits. They’re also a bit sticky to the touch but not as much as other gummy vitamins I’ve tried. I like that I can’t tell it’s a multivitamin-based gummy when sniffing them.

As someone who is actively trying to reduce sugar intake in their daily diet, I like that these gummies carry 80% less sugar.

Organic Vitamins Taste

They taste pretty good! I was expecting them to be a bit more tart because of the smell but they’re not. They have a light sweetness to them that offers just enough flavor.

One distinct difference in the taste of these vegan gummies is that they don’t have that fake, chemical aftertaste that other gummies often do. I can’t express enough how much I hate that taste and appreciate the thoughtfulness behind making these gummies.

Organic Vitamins Appearance

At first glance, I noticed that gluten-free gummies have a noticeable shine to them with three distinct colors: yellow, orange, and dark pink. They’re also a bit slimmer than other plant-based gummies I’ve taken, which is appreciated.

When you receive your fruit and vegetable gummy vitamins, you’ll notice that the delivery of your fruit and vegetable gummies is delivered in a pouch and an empty bottle container. The bottle container is where your gummies will be stored and if you opt for a subscription, expect to receive just the vitamin pouch. These gummies have a noticeable shine to them that I don’t mind as it truly is the most delicious, healthy gummy I’ve tried.

How Do I Feel After Taking First Day Vitamins?

With their natural ingredients, delicious taste, and essential nutrients for adults, I will definitely be keeping these in my daily routine. I’ve only been taking First Day vitamins for nearly a month but I can tell they’re working.

I have more energy and generally feel better knowing that the nutrients that make up this vitamin support my mental, physical, and emotional development. Self-care starts with taking care of yourself first and I’m grateful to have found a supplement that I can trust.

My 3 kids take First Day gummies. I have a son with a sensory processing disorder who is terrible at eating. Just picks. He has to smell everything first. If he doesn’t like the smell even the littlest bit, he won’t even touch it. Same with color! Good thing these vitamins are in gummy form and with fun colors and fruity flavors. It wasn’t a challenge giving these to them as they think these are just regular candies. They are more energetic, productive, and active in school. These gummies helped a lot because they are able to get the vitamins they lack from their meals. After a few months, I learned that FD also has gummies for adults so my husband and I take the men’s and women’s gummies. I think my sleep has improved a lot and I have the energy that lasts the entire day. I highly recommend this product!

I got these for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. He is very picky. I was surprised when he ate his first one ! He won’t eat vegetables, gags at food he doesn’t like. He is a chicken nugget, fries and pizza kid. Occasionally peanut butter. I am very happy with these, and his moods have seemed to change for the better.

That’s so nice to read. The writers who contribute to the site have noted a difference with their own picky eater children. So happy that these vitamins work for you and your grandson.

That’s the beauty of vitamins, if one doesn’t work, you give another one a try. I’m happy you found one that works for you and your family 🙂
