Is it okay to drink infused water every day?

Yes, drinking refreshing water infused with fruit is not only perfectly safe, but it’s also a great way to get your daily dose of water. Thoroughly cleaning your fruits to mix with water is always important, but it’s even more crucial when you’re going to be consuming them in water.

How long should you infuse your water?

To capture the full flavor of the fruit, I typically keep the fruit in the water for no more than 2 hours. For specific infused water recipes like citrus, I’ll leave it in for fewer than 2 hours as it tends to make the water bitter if left in for too long.

What are some good fruit water combos?

Some of my favorite water infuser ideas include berries as their light taste adds a hint of sweetness without being overpowering. I also like to add citrus fruits like lemons, limes, and oranges for a tart kick.

What is the healthiest fruit to put in the water?

There are lots of healthy-infused water recipes on Pinterest that are sure to satisfy your cravings. If you’re looking for a fruit that’s packed with nutrients, adding sliced cucumbers to your water is a great option. Cucumbers are high in vitamins A, B, and C as well as fiber and antioxidants.

They’re also known for their hydrating properties.

Fruit-infused water recipes for parties

So, without further ado, here are my top summer fruit-infused water recipes:

Blackberry mint

This delicious infused water combination is perfect for those warmer months when this summer fruit is in season. Blackberries are high in fiber and antioxidants, while mint leaves can help with digestion.

Easy to make steps:

1. Gather a handful cup of blackberries and 1 bunch of mint leaves in a pitcher of water. In the end, it’s up to you how much fruit and water you want to use.

2. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 1 hour so the flavors can infuse.

3. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Crave-worthy ingredient: The star ingredient that leaves people going back for more is the blackberry.

Strawberry lemon

If you’re looking for flavored fruit water that is going to instantly make you want to continue taking sips while also keeping you feeling refreshed, then this delicious infused water recipe is the one for you!

One of the reasons I’m always drawn to this berry citrus combo is because of the way the tartness of the lemon perfectly offsets the sweetness of the strawberry.

Easy to make steps:

1. Simply add 2-3 slices of lemon and a handful of strawberries to a pitcher of water.

2. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 1 hour so the flavors can infuse.

3. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Crave-worthy ingredient: The key to this particular recipe is using fresh strawberries that are ripe and in season.

Mango ginger

If you didn’t pick up already from my dried mango health benefits post, I am a huge fan of this fruit. Not only are they in season right now, they are an excellent fruit water idea to incorporate into your healthy water recipes!

I also love adding ginger to my water as it’s a great way to add some bite without adding any sweetness. Ginger is also beneficial for nausea and an upset stomach.

Easy to make steps:

1. Start by adding 1-2 slices of fresh ginger to a pitcher of water.

2. Then, add half a cup of thinly sliced mango and allow the mixture to sit for at least 1 hour so the flavors can infuse.

3. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Crave-worthy ingredient: You guessed it, the mango! I love using fresh mango in this recipe but if you’re looking for a summer fruit water recipe that’s a little easier to put together, then you could also use frozen mango.

Blueberry orange basil

Talk about making yourself a good water drink for yourself and some guests on Labor Day. This summer fruit water combo is not only beautiful to look at but it’s also super tasty and refreshing. Out of all the infused water flavors I’ve been rotating in the home, I’ve repeated this recipe the most this summer.

Easy to make steps:

1. In a pitcher of water, add a handful of blueberries, 2-3 slices of fresh orange, and 1-2 sprigs of basil.

2. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 1 hour so the flavors can infuse.

3. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Crave-worthy ingredient: I love the way the orange compliments the blueberries in this recipe but if you’re looking for a summer water recipe that’s a little more unique, then you could also try using grapefruit.

Also, if it weren’t for the basil acting as a delicious, aromatic garnish, this summer fruit water recipe would be very similar to a classic sangria recipe.
