During this time of the year, you’ve probably seen ads online about joining fitness challenges. We’ve all seen them. It’ll read something like, “New Year, New You”.
What’s more important to me than working out every day is making sure I receive proper water intake. You all know how much I love Jove water, the alkaline water I discovered in late 2021. Believe me, I still drink it but I use my motivational water bottle.
I used to think it was kind of cheesy to carry an entire gallon around. I mean, this week alone, I’ve received at least 5 unsolicited comments about my water bottle.

Yay Or Nay Water Bottle Fan?
Don’t get me wrong, I love a nice convenient water bottle. But in my effort to reduce water bottle usage, I want to be intentional and use one single container to fill up.
So for right now, I still will drink from a water bottle but I go for my 128 fluid-ounce jugs first. Keep this blog post to find out which one I purchased at the beginning of this year. I literally use it every single day.
1. Buildlife 1 Gallon Water Bottle Motivation
The guessing game is over because Buildlife is the motivational drinking water bottle I’ve used every day since the start of the year.
Purchased on Amazon, I love this colorful water bottle so much. It has an easy grip and along the side, there are suggested time marks of how much water you should be drinking. There have been no issues with my bottle and if there is one, there’s an easy return process for any damaged items on Amazon.
When it comes to the amount of water I drink, I’m going for the 128 oz. An article published by PureWow stated that drinking a gallon of water per day helps keep you regular.
The article also suggested that it helps clear out the toxins in your body among other benefits. Those two benefits listed alone would make me want to drink more water.
2. Hydromate Half Gallon (64 0z)
This is water motivation in a bottle, literally. For those who aren’t yet ready to jump to a gallon-size water bottle, the Hydromate half gallon is perfect for you.
It comes in a plethora of colors and similar to the first bottle, has time marks along the side as well as sassy text to keep you feeling good.
And like I told you all in a previous post, drinking water is a form of self-care/personal care so why not purchase a motivating bottle like this one?
3. BPA Free Water Bottle
Most of the water bottles on this list are BPA-free but I definitely urge you to double-check for yourself. Another 128 oz motivational water bottle for you to check but get this, it could easily pass for a 64 oz.

Visibly slimmer appearance than Build life, I’m almost mad that I didn’t purchase this water bottle instead. With a removable straw feature and an ergonomic handle, this bottle would do amazing on a camping trip, or for a workout at the gym.
4. Half Gallon Water Bottle
This is another great option for those of you who are opting out of drinking anywhere near 128 oz bottles. Made by a company called Socoo, this interesting-looking container comes in 3 colors: mint, pink, and a green/blue gradient.
I love the look of these water bottles because it appears like they were sturdy and made for someone with an active lifestyle. This eye-catching water bottle would be great to take with you to work, the gym, or running errands during the day.
A lot of the reviews mentioned how easy it is to clean and how it doesn’t fall off your car seat driving more than 30 mph.
5. 32 oz Water Bottle
At this point, you’re probably wondering how many water bottles are in a gallon. If that’s you, it’s 8.
Made by Venture Pal, This is another gradient-colored bottle that comes in 11 gradient colors. How cool is that?
I’ve always been a fan of options so for anyone that’s wondering, “where the heck can I find something smaller?’, this option is ideal for you.
Before jumping to a gallon, I worked my way up and I still have a couple of 32oz and 64oz water bottles in the cabinet.
All I’m saying is start here if a gallon or 64 oz is too intimidating.
6. 16.9 oz Water Bottle
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with anyone who prefers to keep things simple with a standard water bottle size.
I love the look of this water bottle because I remember being in high school rehearsing for a dance concert thinking, ‘this is some of the coldest water I’ve ever had!’
I don’t know too much about these bottles but my hunch tells me that its double-wall and vacuum-insulated function has a lot to do with why this is the coldest water bottle ever.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Again, this is definitely a great bottle to use every day and anywhere.
7. Time Marker Gallon Container
Last but not least, another one of my favorite gallon bottles is because a friend of mine has this same bottle. For those who just want a couple of gallon containers to choose from, here’s one more to add to the list.
Made by Buzio, its 3.4-inch wide opening is wide enough to jazz up the flavor with fruit to infuse your water or a healthy drink mix.
Similar to the other containers, this one also features an ergonomic wide handle for a sturdy grip when you’re on the go. Comes in just 3 colors, for someone who prefers a more subtle look to their water bottles, this is the bottle for you.
